Euro-Parts is a company located in southwestern Ontario that specializes in European appliance parts, sales and service.
In addition to selling parts, Euro-Parts sells a ton of refurbished product. This type of inventory has quick turn around and often there is only a single item. With standard ecommerce solutions it is typical to upload a product once and then sell hundreds of that item. But in this situation the items are all unique and have to be uploaded and removed from their site quickly. It was such a hassle that they just didn't bother to do it at all.
I worked with Euro-Parts to create a mobile application that would allow their staff to quickly snap a photo and upload an appliance to their website. The app was built with the ionic framework so it could be deployed to both android / samsung and iOS / iPhone. For the back end. I wrote a wordpress plugin that integrated the app with their existing website so the data could easily be managed from there as well.
Since listing their products on their site, sales have doubled!
